I read this before my sister and I started our little book club and this is the review I ended up writing for it.

This was such a sweet book! I wasn't sure about it at first and it took me a little while to get into it as I read through the backstory which was all super helpful the more that I read of the book. Once I was less than halfway through the book though, I was hooked! I could not put this boo

k down and stayed up well past midnight a few times reading because it was so good. It's a sweet and heartwarming story about a family and a curse on the second born daug

hters. I cried a few times and passed it along to my mom to read because I knew she would enjoy it as well, so far she is. I picked this book up as part of the book of the month subscription site and was skeptical but I am now hoping this author comes out with more books

soon. I would give it a 10/10 honestly!

Even

though it was a little slow in the beginning and the ending left me wishing there was more, neither of these are issues with the book, the quality, or the author themselves.
