Honestly.. I think Kai and Isabella are my favorite out of all of the couples in Ana’s book universe. Kai is a great balance I think where some of the others are not as much balanced.
There was spice there but it didn’t take up as much of the story and there was definitely more insight into some of the sweeter side of the relationship too. It wasn’t as overpowering but was a good balance there too. While Kai and Isabella are opposites, they compliment each other nicely.
I felt like I identified with Isabella and how she lived her life in the sense that she felt a little lost but I loved even more how she stood up for herself. I loved how even though it’s a fictional story, Kai and Isabella’s relationship problems were more relatable in the sense that they struggled because of outside sources making it feel like they were too different and obstacles that felt like they made sense for their lives.
I mostly really just liked their chemistry and how they interacted with each other and their thoughts when they were apart. Also, how cute is it that Clarissa gives them a nudge!?
Definitely my favorite book of Ana’s so far! I love how everything is intertwined in her book universe from one book to the next and I also can’t wait to read the next one.
