I would give this between a 4 and 4.5 ⭐️ This was so cute and while it won’t be something that changed my life, I would definitely recommend it and will probably keep it on my shelf. This is like a fake dating/marriage between two characters that aren’t enemies really who think they hate each other over a misunderstanding but tolerate each other for their loved ones only to realize they didn’t actually hate each other.
Condensed synopsis: Olive and Ethan go on the honeymoon that was supposed to be her twin and his brothers honeymoon but in a funny twist of fate, everyone at the wedding gets food poisoning except them. They spend 10 days together starting out thinking they hate each other but over time and with some funny situations, they realize they don’t and fall in love. Overall thoughts: there is some sweet/witty banter which I loved and this was such a cute
story overall. It was so sweet, then got a little ugly and made me mad, but then all came together with a nice grand gesture (which had me cry laughing from being sweet and also funny) and came back full circle with a trip to the place it all started but this time with some extra sweetness and love. Some other things I liked: how honest Ethan and Olive are with each other, the bathroom scene was funny snd had me laughing, the way Ethan is with Olive (except the fight) is sweet, Ami is so awesome in the way she deals with Dane, how sweet and supportive Olive’s family is, and Olive’s character development was nice to see.
